Co-authored books

The audiobook your group never got around to.

Multi-author books have a problem nobody warns you about. The book launches, everyone celebrates, and the audiobook never happens, because no single author owns the decision. We fixed that: each author records their own chapter, priced per author.

One book, many voices
Every author, their own chapter
The project moves with whoever's in.
I know because I ran it on my own book. I co-authored Speak Your Way to Sales with nine other women, made this exact offer to the group, and all ten of us said yes. No group treasury, no waiting for consensus, no one person fronting thousands. The audiobook gets made one chapter at a time.
How it works

Four steps, per author.

STEP 1
Pick your mic option
Bring your own broadcast-quality mic, or we ship you a kit.
STEP 2
Get set up
Detailed setup guidance and access to our recording platform.
STEP 3
Record your chapter
A guided session with a real engineer directing you, so you sound like you've done this before.
STEP 4
We finish it
Professional editing, intros and outros, and distribution-ready files.
Pricing

Priced per author. Pick your mic.

Every author gets the same production: a guided recording session, professional editing, and distribution-ready files. The only difference is the microphone.

Included for every author
I have a mic
$300
per author
Your mic needs to be broadcast quality. If it's a headset or a Blue Yeti, pick a kit instead.
Easiest start
Samson Q2U kit
$350
per author
Mic and desk stand shipped to you. A great entry-level professional setup.
Shure kit
$675
per author
Premium mic with boom arm. The setup you'll keep using long after the book.
Not sure if your mic makes the cut? Ask us before you book. Blue Yeti and headset mics don't meet our production standards, and we'd rather tell you now than re-record later.

Even if the group never gets there.

A book can't publish to Audible half-narrated. But your chapter is yours regardless: a finished, professional audio asset in your own voice. Use it as a lead magnet, a speaking sample, a podcast pitch.

Your voice, reading your chapter. That's the whole point of co-authoring.

FAQ

You've got questions, we've got answers.

What if not every co-author joins?
The offer works per author, so the project moves with whoever's in. And your own chapter is yours regardless, a finished audio asset you can use everywhere.
Do I need recording experience?
No. An engineer directs your session live. You just read.
Who handles publishing?
We deliver files to platform spec. Your group's publisher or lead author handles rights and distribution, and we'll walk them through it.

Get your group's audiobook unstuck.

Book a 20-minute call. Bring one co-author or bring all of them. We'll map the whole production and give every author their own simple way in.
